We are ‘Off the High Street’ formed via UpRising Leadership Programme.

Our aim is to help rejuvenate Bedford and as part of our project, we’re working closely with Bedford Borough Council to provide young traders aged 16-25 with a platform and the experience to sell their products on a market stall*.

We are looking to give young traders, the opportunity to sell their quirky, handcrafted and bespoke products for one day at the Love Your Local Market week at little to no cost to them.

The ‘Off the High Street’ event also aims to give you the confidence, skills and ability to trade locally in a market environment whilst also networking with other local traders and great practise to develop your salesmanship.

 
We hope this day will bring a unique twist to Love Your Local Market week/ It will be a chance to celebrate individual talent and community spirit. As part of the Bedford youth we recognise the potential Bedford has!

The market stall will be £30, all you need to do is fill in an application form.

 

*Please note the stalls are aimed at 16-25 year olds but we will consider other stall holders (aged 30 and under) on merit of what they are selling/producing.
